GAZA | March 2026 – As part of the emergency humanitarian response for the Gaza Strip, the Arab Medical Relief (AMR), in partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), implemented an initiative to provide hot meals for healthcare professionals to bolster their resilience amidst dire humanitarian conditions.

The initiative involved the distribution of 2,000 hot nutritional meals to medical staff across several hospitals and health centers in both northern and southern Gaza, in collaboration with the Palestine Tomorrow Association for Community Development.

Distribution operations commenced on the final day of the Holy Month of Ramadan and continued for one week. The organized operational plan ensured the efficient delivery of meals to targeted healthcare workers across various regions.

The integrated meals were prepared according to strict health and nutritional standards, consisting of rice, meat, water, juice, and dates, while maintaining the highest safety and quality protocols during preparation, packaging, and distribution.

The distribution targeted key medical facilities, including Al-Shifa Hospital, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and Khan Younis Hospital, along with other healthcare centers, following a precise timeline to ensure support reached those entitled to it effectively.

AMR emphasized that this initiative falls within its ongoing commitment to addressing urgent humanitarian needs and supporting healthcare workers operating under extraordinary circumstances. The association further praised the effective partnerships that enhance the overall impact of humanitarian interventions.
