Awareness and Appreciation Event at Qatar Charity Comprehensive Health Center on World Refugee Day

An awareness and appreciation event was organized on the occasion of World Refugee Day at the Qatar Charity Comprehensive Health Center in Za’atari Camp, supervised and coordinated by Ms. Hayat Saqr, with the participation of several refugees and humanitarian and relief organizations.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Eyad Al-Rashdan, Project Manager at Qatar Charity, Mr. Eyad Shetiat, Health Officer at the UNHCR, and Brigadier Dr. Mohammad Al-Shurman, deputy for the Camp Director. They praised the efforts of refugees and supporting entities in promoting community solidarity within the camp.

The event included cultural and artistic segments that highlighted the issues and challenges faced by refugees, concluding with honoring inspiring models of refugees and humanitarian workers in recognition of their resilience and achievements.

This event is part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness of refugee rights and build bridges of communication with the local community and supporters.
