Relief Association (AMR), carried out a series of interactive and awareness activities targeting children and mothers, with the aim of promoting physical and mental health as well as strengthening family communication.

The center organized a group activity for children titled “The Smart Balls Journey”, a motor-sensory game designed to develop motor, sensory, and social skills, enhance speech abilities, response to instructions, focus, and attention, while also fostering teamwork, positive competition, and acceptance of loss.

Additionally, the center held an awareness session for mothers on developing family communication skills with children, focusing on increasing psychological awareness and understanding emotions that children experience—such as anxiety, fear, and anger. The session also equipped mothers with practical skills to handle these emotions and emphasized their essential role in providing psychological care and supporting children’s mental well-being.

The activities concluded with an awareness session titled “Sitting Posture and Its Impact”, during which specialists explained the importance of correct sitting posture and its positive effects from a physiotherapy perspective, as well as the health complications that result from improper sitting. The session also included demonstrations of correct and incorrect sitting positions in children.

These activities come as part of the center’s ongoing programs aimed at promoting the holistic health of children and their families.
