As part of its commitment to promoting a culture of public safety and enhancing staff preparedness, the Arab Medical Relief (AMR) conducted a comprehensive and specialized training program on firefighting and emergency evacuation within Al-Azraq and Al-Zaatari refugee camps.

The training covered several AMR-operated health centers, including:

Al-Shamil Health Center – Village 3, Al-Azraq Camp

Village 5 Health Center – Al-Azraq Camp

Sheikh Jassim Health Center – Al-Azraq Camp

Qatari Charity Health Center – Al-Zaatari Camp

Radiology Center – Al-Zaatari Camp

The training was conducted under the direct supervision of AMR’s Security and Operations Officer, in coordination with the Human Resources Team, and in collaboration with the Jordan Civil Defense Directorate. The program included realistic simulations of fire and evacuation scenarios within the health centers, significantly enhancing the efficiency and readiness of medical and administrative staff to respond swiftly and safely to various emergency situations.

This initiative is part of AMR’s ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and well-prepared work environment, and to equip its staff with the highest standards of occupational safety and health preparedness.
