HRF Delegation and Volunteers from the UK Visit Al-Amal Center in Zaatari Camp

A delegation from Human Relief Foundation (HRF), accompanied by a volunteer team from Humanity Worldwide, visited the Al-Amal Center for Health Promotion to review the therapeutic services provided to children and the operational challenges faced by the center. The delegation participated in an activity with the children, followed by a meeting with representatives from UNHCR and the association’s team, during which an overview was presented on occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, and psychosocial support services, with an emphasis on the ongoing need for funding due to increasing waiting lists.

The visit included a tour of the center’s departments, where the delegation observed individual and group therapy sessions and interacted with children and their families.

The visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen support for the sustainability of therapeutic services for children in the camp.
