AMR and Ishraq Eye Center Sign Agreement to Perform Cataract Surgeries

AMMAN | February 24, 2026 – The Arab Medical Relief (AMR) official headquarters hosted the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement with Ishraq Eye Center. The partnership aims to provide cataract removal surgeries for beneficiaries within the association’s comprehensive healthcare programs.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Awni Al-Bashir, President of AMR, and Eng. Tamer Yousef Mahyar, CEO of Ishraq Eye Center. The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Bataybat, AMR Project Coordinator, and Mr. Amer Herzallah, Public Relations Director at Ishraq Center.

This collaboration reflects AMR’s commitment to forging medical partnerships with specialized healthcare institutions. Such initiatives are designed to enhance the quality of medical services provided to patients and expand the reach of therapeutic programs to those most in need.

Operations under this agreement are scheduled to commence next week, aiming to restore hope and significantly improve the quality of life for the beneficiaries.
