Sheikh Jasem Ben Jabr Al Thani Center
This medical center provides free-of-charge primary healthcare services (diagnosis and medication) to the refugees in the camp and residents of the 2nd village, whose number is currently 11,000 people, and the center receives around 300 visitors daily.
Starting its operations in 2017, this Center is a joint project funded by the Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation in Qatar. Since the Center's inception and until 2022, about 350,000 medical services were provided.
Considering the significance of other medical services that are necessary for the Center's operations and AMR’s ability to expand the scope of work, partnerships have been concluded with various organizations and institutions under binding agreements to provide multiple services such as nutrition, mental health,chronic diseases, and vaccinations.
