Emergency Cases Fund
The Emergency Cases Fund started in 2017 with funding and donations from companies, institutions, and philanthropists, and the number of beneficiaries since its inception until mid-2022 has reached about (246).
It is concerned with contributing or sponsoring the cost of rapid medical intervention necessary for emergency cases, which cannot be treated at the centers of AMR, by performing the rapid diagnostic procedure and the necessary surgical intervention. Emergency cases are received, presented to the competent committee, and followed up, and then the authority responsible for the medical procedure is addressed, with a limit of up to (800) Jordanian dinars for each case. The Fund targets all age groups, male or female, regardless of nationality, religion, or race, as follows:
- Life saving or organ saving medical conditions and emergency cases.
- Critical and severe medical cases that have a special social status (such as: father, mother, and children who depend on their parents with a single source of income, or any other humanitarian case).
- Medical conditions not covered by any type of health insurance.
- A refugee patient who is registered with UNHCR and is not covered by medical insurance.
